Description
A delicious and savory quiche filled with bite-sized potatoes, crispy bacon, and flavorful spices.
Ingredients
1 lb bite-sized potatoes
5 Thick bacon
8 unit eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup Jalapeño cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp black pepper
3 unit Green onions
0.5 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Step 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- Step 2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet, crumble or chop into small pieces, and set aside.
- Step 3. In the same skillet, cook the bite-sized potatoes until they are slightly browned and cooked through. Season with salt, black pepper lightly.
- Step 4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Step 5. Spread the cooked potatoes and bacon evenly in the prepared pie dish. Pour the egg mixture over the top.
- Step 6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown on top.
- Step 7. Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
